Mechanical Engineer, Special Inspections
Duties Include:
- Provide onsite inspections of piping, insulation, firestopping, and startup of air conditioning and heating systems.
- Ensure compliance with the approved design documents and approved shop drawings, and building codes.
- Communicate with the contractor and design team to resolve nonconformance items.
- Manage the inspection schedule to facilitate timely construction and completion of the scope of work.
Required Certifications Include:
- ICC (International Code Council) Commercial Mechanical Inspector.
- ICC - Commercial Energy Code Inspector.
- BS - Mechanical Engineering.
- PE - Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (required for Director position)
Structural/Civil Engineer
Duties Include:
- Provide on-site inspections of structural steel, concrete, masonry, spray fireproofing, and other structural elements.
- Ensure compliance with the approved design documents and approved shop drawings, and building codes.
- Communicate with the contractor and design team to resolve nonconformance items.
- Manage the inspection schedule to facilitate timely construction and completion of the structural phase of work.
Required Certifications Include:
- AWS-CWI - Certified Welding Inspector
- ICC (International Code Council) Structural Steel Welding Inspector
- ICC - Structural Steel High Strength Bolting Inspector
- ICC - Concrete Special Inspector
- ICC - Masonry Special Inspector
- ICC - Spray Fireproofing Special Inspector
- PE - Licensed Professional Structural/Civil Engineer (required for Director position)
